In a summer that is unusual compared to its predecessors, during which there are less options to go on holiday or cross borders, Panaria Ceramica takes a tour of some of the pools that feature its products.
Whether by the sea or in the mountains, by the lake or in the countryside, pools have always been a summer dream for many people, a meeting place where you can lose yourself in its atmosphere, nature, beauty and relaxation. The space around the water thus plays a crucial role in determining the success of a “pool space”, since people often only spend a limited amount of time in the pool. Indeed, it is the pool’s integration with the surrounding area that provides emotions and an overall sense of enjoyment. It is therefore necessary to pay attention to the surrounding area to make the outdoor experience complete.
The Atlantic Park Hotel, a resort located in the hilly and picturesque area of Fiuggi and its thermal baths, offers a facility designed for an unforgettable stay that focuses on its guests’ total well-being. One of its standout features is the wellness centre with its exclusive spa, where you can indulge in the most authentic relaxation. An immersive wellness environment that is not only restorative, but also elegant, for which the Prime Stone collection is the key element. It is a stone-effect line that strikingly blends with the contemporary concrete surfaces, giving the room a distinctly modern look with naturally authentic “vintage” references.
The surfaces selected for the spa and poolside flooring are specially designed to offer the right level of grip and resistance to weathering, water absorption, chlorine and chemical agents – outdoors – or moisture and heat, as well as detergents and disinfectants, for the wellness area’s indoor spaces. A touch of intense relaxation, mystery and charm is provided by the dark Marquina Black shade of the Eternity collection, which makes the spa environment a sanctuary where you can totally unwind.
The Castello Tolcinasco Golf Resort & Spa, which dates back to the 16th century, provides the backdrop to a more modern facility equipped with tennis courts, a Club House, Pro Shop, 3 putting greens and a golf driving range with 50 outdoor and 10 covered tees that make it one of the most exclusive and sophisticated clubs in Italy. There is also an outdoor swimming pool that offers members and their guests an elegant setting for the year’s hottest months. Envisaging a place designed for complete relaxation, just a few kilometres from the centre of Milan, the choice of materials fell on the Bioarch collection inspired by natural quartzite, which conveys the charm of authentically elegant stone outdoors.
The strength of porcelain stoneware, which is durable and resistant to weathering and low temperatures, makes the collection a perfect choice for outdoor use.
Nestled in the verdant, peaceful Parma countryside, a stunning renovation reinterprets an early-20th century farmhouse surrounded by its own land covered with magnificent olive trees. A large porch with vaults and columns frames the spacious courtyard area with a swimming pool and a solarium, making it a perfect place for passing time in total relaxation. For the outdoor area flooring, the customer opted for Panaria Ceramica’s Pietre di Fanes series, one of Panaria Ceramica’s historic collections in which the combination of Grigio Misto and Rosso Misto, laid by combining the three 20x20cm, 20x30.5 and 20x41cm cm sizes, recalls the colours of the materials (bricks and river stones) used in the original walls.
Pietre di Fanes is a line of porcelain stoneware elements that are perfect for pedestrian areas, courtyards, walkways, pavements, terraces and swimming pools.
With its lush landscapes and climate tempered by the presence of the nearby river, the town of Králův Dvůr boasts a truly special geographical position in the Czech Republic’s Central Bohemian Region. This is the location of a house with pure volumes and a clean design that impresses with its tasteful combination of materials, including wood, stone and ceramic. This is particularly noticeable outside, where the geometric arrangement of the volumes enters dialogues with the garden and the swimming pool, accentuating the harmonious continuity between inside and outside.
The tool that emphasizes this continuity is the ceramic covering of the floor created with the “Sand” variant of the Prime Stone collection, a stone-effect porcelain stoneware that exudes the tactile solidity of the many local stones positioned in the garden.
