The information derives from the Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by the European Authorities, in the Group formed by art. 29 of the Directive no. 95/46/EC about personal data protection, on May 17th 2001, to find out some minimum requirements for the on-line collection of personal data and, in particular, methods, times and nature of the information that the owners of data processing must give the users when they connect to Web pages, independently of the purposes of such connection.
THE "OWNER" OF DATA PROCESSING
While surfing this site, data concerning identified or identified individuals can be processed.
The owner of data processing is Panariagroup Industrie Ceramiche S.p.A., seated in Via Panaria Bassa 22/A 41034 Finale Emilia (MO).
DATA PROCESSING PLACE
The processing connected to the Web services of this site is carried out in the above seat or by secondary seats and is followed only by technical staff of the office charged with data processing, or by possible other operators charged with occasional maintenance operations.
Data coming from the Web service can be communicated to third companies charged with the site maintenance. In any case, data shall not be disclosed.
Personal data supplied by the users sending requests for information material (bulletins, CD-Roms, catalogues, price lists, replies to questions, different actions, etc.) shall be used only to carry out the required service or performance.
PROCESSED DATA TYPES
Computer processing systems and all software procedures following the operation of this Web site, during normal operations, acquire some personal data items whose transmission is implied in the use of Internet communications protocols.
All this information is not gathered to be directly associated with identified individuals, but, due to their nature, could allow an identification of the users through processing and association with data held by third parties.
This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers of the users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the required resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained as a reply, the numeric code on the status of the reply sent by the server (ok, error, etc.) and other parameters linked with the user's OS and computer processing environment.
All these data items are used to get statistical anonymous information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation. Data items could be used to ascertain the responsibility in case of hypothetical computer processing crimes to the detriment of the site: apart from this possibility, currently data on Web contacts are not kept after 12 months.
Data given by the user voluntarily
The voluntary sending, express and optional sending of e-mail messages to the addresses contained in this site involves the following acquisition of the sender's address, required to reply to any request, as well as all the other personal data entered in the message.
Synthetic information specifications shall be progressively written or displayed in the pages of the site dedicated to special optional services.
No personal data of the users is acquired by the site to this matter.
No cookies are used for sending personal information, nor persistent cookies of any kind are used, that is systems for data tracking.
The use of session cookies (that are not persistently stored in the user's computer) is strictly linked with the transmission of session identifications (formed by random numbers generated by the server) required for a safe and efficient site surfing.
The session cookies used in this site prevent the recourse to other computer processing techniques that could be potentially detrimental to the secrecy of users' surfing and do not allow any users' personal identification data to be acquired.
OPTIONAL CHARACTER OF DATA TRANSFER
Apart from the specifications of surfing data, the user can decide if giving his/her personal data or not.
If no data communication is given, the required information could not be obtained.
Personal data are processed with automated instruments for the time strictly necessary to reach the linked purpose.
Special safety measures have been adopted to prevent data loss, misuse or non-allowed use and unauthorized access.
