A new state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre has been built in Nicosia, on the enchanting island of Cyprus. Featuring 26 single rooms and facilities dedicated to physiotherapy, aromatherapy, and moral and psychological support, the innovative centre aims to offer maximum comfort to patients receiving palliative care. The large, light and airy building is surrounded by nature and was designed by the Philippou Architects firm which, in this delicate context, opted for products that boast outstanding aesthetic and technical quality, such as Panaria Ceramica porcelain stoneware tiles, superior surfaces that are the result of long-standing expertise.

In the rehabilitation centre, the Trilogy series has been installed on the floor with the Soft finish, Sandy Grey shade and 9.5 mm-thick 60x120cm size, a collection that reproduces the purity and elegance of marble on ceramic surfaces. The Sandy Grey shade, which has a tactile look with a soft vein pattern, delicately contrasts with the white walls, accentuating a contemporary, naturally luminous effect in the building. Trilogy is made with antibacterial Protect® technology and therefore guarantees environments that are healthy and protected, which is particularly essential in hospital and healthcare settings that must guarantee their guests the utmost safety and hygiene. By reducing surface bacteria by up to 99.9%, the tiles are ideal for protecting the health of patients in the facility. In addition to offering very high performance, the materials’ aesthetic quality helps to make the rooms pleasant, relaxing and welcoming.
