A contemporary home whose volumes and geometry are designed to blend into nature. Located in Austin, the capital of Texas, on the Colorado River, the new “TEXAS ARTISAN HOMES” housing project features an impressive central patio, breathtaking views across the vast expanse of rolling hills, and masterful use of ceramic surfaces in the spacious interiors.

The large laminated porcelain stoneware slabs inspired by marble from the Custom Made collection, in a delicate bluish-grey tone, in the 120x260 cm size and 6 mm thickness, have been used for the flooring and wall coverings of the bathroom and the master walk-in wardrobe, where the sheen of the selected finish enhances the prestige and natural beauty of the surfaces. For the large walls in the fireplace area and the wine cellar set within the living space, the Statuario variant in the LUX finish was chosen, featuring a bookmatch decoration that enhances the decorative pattern.

For the bathroom walls, the designer used large slabs in the 100x300 cm size from the Custom Made collection, with a thickness of 5.5 mm, which, thanks to the subtle veining typical of marble, enhance the space and convey a sense of refined elegance. For the flooring, large slabs were used in a lighter shade, distinguished by their architectural character: a cement resin applied with a spatula, featuring a semi-gloss finish and a delicate graphic effect.
